Today is Release Day for THE FROZEN STEPPE! I haven’t had my coffee or tea yet this morning, so the reality hasn’t fully set in yet that I’ve published TWO books now, and I’m racing toward completing a third (and finishing up this trilogy). Thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the years. I couldn’t have gotten to this point without an army of moral support.

About the Book
THE FROZEN STEPPE is the second installment in the epic fantasy trilogy “Chronicles of the Second Sun”. It picks up immediately where THE WHISPERING PASS left off and catapults readers into what comes next for Munne, Ray, and Seth.
The prologue is available to read online if you can’t wait to get your hands on a copy! Check out the page for The Frozen Steppe and give it a read.
You can buy the book from all the major book places. I’d personally recommend shopping on either Bookshop.org to support your local bookstore, or IngramSpark, to support me. It’s available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble as well.
After you read it, please be sure to leave a review! Reviews are my fuel and what keeps me moving forward in my writing journey.
“There’s been a change of plans, as you are already aware.”
Ray Finnegan has successfully kidnapped Princess Niamnh and spirited her away to the northern forests of Promthus. Despite her grief over losing her partner Ajak and her unfamiliarity with the lands beyond Auora, Ray must follow Naro’s orders and take Niamnh to Na’roc of North. The journey is taxing, and her life is threatened multiple times by the Doshara inhabiting the princess’s body, but there are many secrets to learn about the world of Daaria, and about Naro himself.
“Travel east for two days. On the third day you should cross the River Thuala. Another four days after that, the forest will thin and you will be in Na’roc of North.”
Munne Vere’cha continues to face conflict between following her duties as Warlord of the Elviri and sneaking away to the desolate lands of Kherizhan. Her journey has brought her to the city-island of Auora, where chaos and conflict reigns after the disappearance of Princess Niamnh. There Munne meets an enigmatic gang lord who tries to sway her into leaving, pushing her to cut off the head of the snake. She must choose between staying to help her allies or leaving with the mysterious Moon’s Wares caravan.
“If you can see the Wall, turn north and travel until it is out of sight. Only then should you turn east again.”
When his father killed his mother in front of his eyes, Seth abandoned all hope of ever escaping home. Yet, against all odds, he finds allies in Yiradia who stay by his side and help him plan his next escape. Their plans go awry when Seth’s father relocates his family to Iszairi, the Asaszi stronghold deep within the rainforests of Moonyswyn. There Seth learns terrible secrets about the Elviri-Asaszi Wars, and what horrible fate awaits Daaria if his father’s plans go unchecked.
“Travel east until you find their villages, or they find you.”
Upcoming Events
Check out my Upcoming Events page to see where I’ll be at and when! This weekend I’ll be hanging out at Rêve Coffee and Books with a TTRPG one-shot and book signing to celebrate the release of the book. I’ll also be at various events scattered across North Georgia and Southeastern Tennessee through the rest of this year.
Other Merch
Beyond books, I also have t-shirts! Check out my Bonfire shop if you’d like to support me, and let me know what other kinds of t-shirt designs (or other merch in general) you’d like to see!
You’ll also see some really cool merch at the various events I’ll be at this year. Oh, I’ve got the regular bookmarks and stickers, but I’ve also got: custom 6-sided dice, keychains, and branded tea blends.

Book Three
Book 3 is coming! It has a title! It has a cover! It even has a plotted-out ending! I’m hoping to finish writing it by the end of this year. I’m planning a major release for this, probably with a Kickstarter and everything, because it will be the culmination of all my hard work over the past two decades. On the one hand, this is extremely bittersweet because I’ve essentially grown up with these characters and they’re like an extension of myself. But also I’ll be able to move onto other projects and tell someone else’s stories for a change.
…and because I simply can’t resist, here’s a little sneak peek of the cover…
