So many things have happened in the past few weeks! Let’s start with the first, which is very visual and pretty: the new cover for THE WHISPERING PASS!
I’ve been working with the incredibly talented Andrea Corsini for the covers of this series. You can check out her art on Instagram or on her Cara portfolio. She has been such a delight to work with, and she’s had so many wonderful ideas for bringing Munne, Ray, Seth, and others to life on these covers. Not to mention, the book now looks like an actual fancy, finished, professional book you’d buy in a bookstore!
The new, revised edition of THE WHISPERING PASS will be available on May 1, 2025.
Andrea and I have started working on the cover for THE FROZEN STEPPE, and at the same time the book is with my editor. I’ll be posting sneak peeks of that cover on Instagram and on here. This book will feature Ray on the back, a little fun fact that hasn’t been made official until now. That means, of course, that Seth will be on the back of the third and final installment in the trilogy.
In March, I hosted a worldbuilding class at Rêve Coffee and Books, and I’ll be returning in May for a class on character development. Stay tuned here and on Instagram/Facebook for an official announcement along with a date.
On top of juggling all of this, plus my day job, plus other social media content, I’ve started writing the third book, which will go unnamed for now. I have to keep some mysteries up my sleeve, after all.
